Dennis Fiedler, M.B.J.

I learned my trade from 3 men, my father Clarence Fiedler, Jean Boutard, a master Goldsmith from Holland, and Art Pyne, a master Goldsmith in Sun Valley, Idaho.  I was also self-employed for 27 years doing work for many jewelry stores and also employed by a large chain store in the Midwest.  I had always wanted to work for Sartor Hamann from the day they opened their Grand Island store.  So when they offered me a job that allowed me to work for a high class jewelry store and work again with my son, Jason, how could I turn down such a wonderful opportunity?  Also, both of my sons are Master Bench Jewelers.  Jared and his family live in Michigan.  I enjoyed training both of them.  Sartor Hamann is the elite of jewelry stores.  It is a joy working for a family-oriented company.  I am convinced that Sartor Hamann has 5 of the best goldsmiths in Nebraska and a great staff to work with.

I enjoy spending time with my family, and my 3 granddaughters who just melt the hearts of my wife Dolly and me.  I have been happily married for 47 years.  I enjoy gardening and love to grow tomotoes and other veggies.  Roses are my favorite flower and I have 4 rose bushes I enjoy taking care of.  My favorite pie is rhubarb because my wife makes the best rhubarb pie you can imagine.  And the flavor is just amazing with a hot cup of coffee.  I sincerely hope that I have many more enjoyable years with Sartor Hamann, working at what I believe is Nebraska's finest jewelry store.
