I, Courtney, have known Jarod’s family for many years and grew up friends with his younger brother. Jarod and I did not know each other personally only “of” each other. About two years ago, we kept running into each other around town and one time specifically at a Luke Bryan concert. Apparently, I kept making eyes at Jarod from across the concert venue. I do not remember the event this way ;) but it prompted him to ask me for dinner and the rest is history.
Courtney and I both knew early on that this relationship was something different and in June of 2019, I decided to propose to her. The proposal took place at a local winery, followed by an engagement party with all of Courtney's closest family and friends. I worked with Katy Kerins and Lori Fowler during the process of picking out the ring and deciding on the details of the stone/band. Katy and Lori were extremely helpful during the process and were able to answer all my questions about the ring.
