Use of Website
The Terms and Conditions contained herein govern your use of, and any purchase from the Sartor Hamann Jewelers Website. Sartor Hamann Jewelers reserves the right to change or modify any of these Terms and Conditions or any policy or guideline of this Website at its sole discretion by posting such changes or modifications to this Website. Changes and modifications will be effective immediately upon posting to this Website. Your continued use of this Website following the posting of such changes or modifications constitutes acceptance of them. Therefore, you should frequently review these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable policies to make sure that you understand them.
By using this Website, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, do not use this Website or make any purchase from it.
Product Availability
Items displayed on this Website are not always available for immediate shipping. While we make every effort to keep the Website current, products are constantly being sold and therefore, available inventory is frequently changing. If you need a product shipped within forty-eight hours, we recommend that you contact our offices at info@sartorhamann.com or call (402) 476-8561 and we should be able to tell you whether or not the item can be shipped in that time frame.
Our prices are subject to change without notice because we operate in a market where prices can change rapidly.
Warranty
Sartor Hamann uses only the finest quality materials and workmanship in all of our jewelry. New purchases carry a limited warranty against all workmanship and factory defects for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover any loss or problems caused by accidental or intentional damage, abuse, or abnormal wear. This warranty is void if item(s) have been serviced by non-Sartor Hamann personnel. This warranty does not constitute insurance of any kind and any liability is limited to the lesser of the purchase price of the item or a maximum of $3,000.
Sartor Hamann takes your jewelry care very seriously. We highly recommend that you purchase insurance for all of your fine jewelry which would cover loss, theft, damage, mysterious disappearance or things which might happen during the course of normal wear and tear. Sartor Hamann will provide you with a fully documented insurance appraisal for this purpose when you purchase an item from us.
We also recommend that you bring your jewelry in every 6 months for inspection and cleaning. Our highly skilled and talented jewelers can take care of any repairs or adjustments that might need to be attended to at that time. And of course, we want your jewelry to be always looking its best!
Special Orders
Special orders from our suppliers usually take between 2 to 4 weeks depending on the item, the vendor, and the time of year. Pricing may also vary between what we have in stock, posted on the Website, or special ordered from a supplier. Your price for a special ordered item will be determined by current market conditions and will be quoted to you prior to the order being processed.
All special orders and custom-made items require a down payment and are non-cancellable. This down payment is non-refundable after the order has been placed or any work has been started.
Shipping
All orders are shipped to you fully insured for the total replacement value of the item(s) and require a signature for receipt. We ship only to addresses in the United States, including APO/FPO addresses. We do not ship to other locations.
All orders of $99 or more ship free via United States Postal Service or United Parcel Service and will arrive within 2-5 business days once shipped. Orders of less than $99 will be charged a $9 shipping fee.
Express Shipping
Sartor Hamann Jewelers offers Express Shipping for an additional $30. Express packages arrive within 1-2 business days depending on destination.
Free in-store pick up is also an available option when purchasing jewelry from our Website. However, if an item shows “In Stock” on the Website, it will need to be determined which of our 3 locations is carrying the item. Because each store carries a different inventory mix, please call prior to making a special trip to verify that the item you wish to purchase is in stock at your desired location.
Returns
Items may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. The return/exchange period begins on the date that the order was invoiced. Merchandise must be in original and unworn condition and accompanied by original gift box with all warranty cards, documents and diamond reports intact. Special orders, custom and altered pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee on items not in original condition including ring sizing. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and may be used for purchases only. Refunds will be given in accordance with the original form of payment when possible, or in the form of store credit.
Return Instructions
You may return or exchange an item either in person at any of our 3 locations or by mail. For mail returns, call us at 402-476-8561 (press Option 1) to obtain a Return Shipping Authorization Code. Your return shipping and insurance charges will be paid by Sartor Hamann. We will email you a pre-paid shipping label that you will need to print out and affix to the outside of the shipping package. The package must be mailed via US Post Office within 3 days of receiving the label. If it is not mailed within that time period, you must call for a new shipping label.
Enclose your item inside its original Sartor Hamann jewelry box. Place the jewelry box inside a shipping box. We recommend using the original shipping box from your order. If you do not have the original packaging, pick up a small box from the US Post Office. For all returns and exchanges, include all original packaging and accompanying materials, including the packing slip. Be sure to securely tape and seal all the edges of the box. We will not accept improperly packaged items. Affix the pre-paid shipping label to the outside of the box and drop it at any US Post Office location or drop-box.
For security reasons, do not write jewelry, diamonds or other related words anywhere on the package. You may track the return package either by recording the tracking number from the label or call our offices and we can let you know the shipping status of the package.
Refund Process
After we receive the returned order, our Quality Assurance Department will inspect and verify the condition of the item. Returns take approximately seven business days to process once we have received the item. Refunds will be issued via the method of payment used in the original purchase. Any returns showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized, or damaged in any way will not be accepted for return.
